Principals

CDK Investment Management's Principals, John O. Downing, Peter G.C. Mallinson, and Thomas W. Keesee, all have over 20 years each of diverse and complementary experience in US and international financial markets. This experience, which includes equity and fixed income capital markets, principal investing in private equity and hedge funds, credit analysis and banking, and investment banking, are all applicable to the firm's investment focus. In addition to the US, the Principals have worked extensively in financial markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America, giving the firm a broad range of financial markets contacts and investment knowledge worldwide. This network and knowledge allows CDK to source and gain access to superior managers and guides the firm's strategy allocation process.

Team

CDK Investment Management has a total staff of 12 professionals between its offices in New York and London, six of whom are devoted to the investment process, which is headed by John Downing and Peter Mallinson. The firm has a fully staffed Research and Manager Selection group, Client Relations team and Finance and Administration area. The latter is responsible for the accounting and back office of the CDK onshore funds and overseeing the administration and accounting for the offshore funds, which are done by external service providers.
